I
live in NE Oregon. For the past 10 years my husband and
I have owned a small mom and pop grocery store. I know
that for many owning their own business is the American
dream; but in this type of business, you exchange a big
chunk of your life for a living. We often joked about
not wanting to calculate what we were earning by the hour.
We have just sold this business, allowing us to focus
on
our YTB business full-time. As I sat down with the new
owner, there were many things to discuss: employee issues,
equipment etc. During this discussion my thoughts kept
turning to the incredible opportunity we have here at YTB.
You
see he just paid over $300,000 for this brick and mortar
business. Now I know that he can make a good living,
but he certainly doesn’t have the earning potential
that we do. Nor do we have to deal with 15 hour days, working
on holidays, missing our children’s activities,
and all of the issues that I mentioned above. The thought
of
all that we receive with our YTB business
just amazes me. I feel blessed to have found a real,
professional and fun business with an incredible earning
potential.
I feel fortunate that now I can choose my own hours,
let someone else do all the worrying, have eliminated
the concerns
associated with employees, and no longer have to do all
of that bookkeeping. To me, the YTB opportunity truly
represents the American Dream, and my dream come true. |
